Pure aluminum welding wire, aluminum magnesium welding wire, aluminum silicon welding wire

Welding wire/welding rod

Pure aluminum welding wire, aluminum magnesium welding wire, aluminum silicon welding wire

The selection of welding wire is mainly based on the type of base material, taking into account the requirements for crack resistance, mechanical properties, and corrosion resistance of the joint. In general, welding aluminum and aluminum alloys using welding wire with the same or similar grade to the base material composition can achieve better corrosion resistance.

    ER1100 Product Introduction

ER1100 is a filler metal containing 99% aluminum, which can be used in industries such as construction, decoration and equipment, metallurgy, pipelines, spinning equipment, etc. Generally used for base materials of 1100, 3003 or similar to 3003, as well as 1060, 1070, 1080, 1035. After anodizing treatment, the welding wire shows a slight golden yellow color, and the tensile strength of the weld is 110MP.

Compared to disc aluminum welding wire, barrel aluminum welding wire has the characteristics of uniform and continuous wire feeding, large capacity without joints, and is suitable for automatic control welding and long-term uninterrupted welding. The occurrence of welding defects during welding is significantly reduced low, aesthetically pleasing weld formation to reduce customer costs and improve work efficiency.

    Performance characteristics:
It is a pure aluminum welding wire containing more than 99.5% aluminum, with good weldability and corrosion resistance, as well as excellent plasticity and toughness, but low strength.

    Application:
Suitable for argon arc welding and oxygen acetylene gas welding of pure aluminum and aluminum alloys with low joint requirements as filling materials, widely used in chemical industry aluminum equipment.

    ER4043 Product Introduction

ER4043 is commonly used as ALSil, an aluminum filler metal containing 5% silicon, and can be recommended for welding 3003, 3004, 5052, 6061, 6063 and casting metals 355, 356, and 214. The melting point temperature range of ER4043 is 1065-1170oF, and the color after anodizing treatment is gray white with a small tensile strength of 186MP.

    Performance characteristics:
It is a widely used aluminum silicon alloy welding wire, and the weld metal has excellent thermal cracking resistance and certain mechanical properties. However, in the case of anodizing treatment, the color of the weld metal is different from that of the base metal, and the welding of aluminum magnesium gold generates brittle Mg2Si in the weld, which reduces the plasticity and corrosion resistance of the joint.

    Usage:
Commonly used as a filling material for aluminum alloy workpieces and castings during argon arc welding and oxygen acetylene gas welding, except for aluminum magnesium alloys. Especially for heat treated strengthened aluminum alloys that are prone to hot cracking, it can achieve good results.

    ER4047 Product Introduction

ER4047 is commonly used as ASSi2, an aluminum filler metal containing 12% silicon. This alloy is not only suitable for MIG or TIG applications, but can also be supplied as a general-purpose brazing alloy with good corrosion resistance. It is a popular aluminum alloy welding wire for brazing or aluminum welding. Can be used for welding of base materials 1060, 1350, 3003, 3004, 3005, 5005, 5050, 6053, 6061, 6951, 7005 and casting alloys 710.0 and 711.0. The melting point temperature of ER4047 is approximately 1070-1080oF, and its color after anodizing treatment is gray black.

    Performance characteristics:
This product is an alloy welding wire containing 12% silicon, suitable for welding various cast and extruded aluminum alloys. The low melting point and good fluidity result in minimal welding deformation of the base material.

    Application:
Welding or surfacing of lightweight alloy processing industry.
