Stainless Steel Packed Bed Scrubber
description1
Product Features
Efficient purification: The packed bed scrubber can effectively remove a variety of pollutants in the exhaust gas, including particulate matter, acidic gases, VOCs, etc., with high purification efficiency.
Flexible operation: By adjusting the type, concentration and spray volume of the scrubbing liquid, it can adapt to the treatment needs of exhaust gases of different types and concentrations.
Low energy consumption: Compared with other exhaust gas treatment technologies, the packed bed scrubber has low operating energy consumption and relatively low maintenance costs.
Environmentally friendly: The scrubbing liquid is mostly water or recyclable solution, and the treated exhaust gas has little impact on the environment and meets environmental protection requirements.
Wide range of applications: It is not only suitable for exhaust gas treatment in large industrial enterprises, but also suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises and laboratories.

Working Principle of Packed Bed Scrubber
The core of the packed bed scrubber lies in the packing layer inside it. When the waste gas containing pollutants passes through the scrubber, it will first be introduced into a tower body filled with packing. These packings usually have a large specific surface area and porosity, which can increase the gas-liquid contact area and promote the full contact and reaction between the waste gas and the scrubbing liquid. The scrubbing liquid (such as water, alkali solution, acidic solution, etc., depending on the composition of the waste gas) is sprayed down from the top of the tower to form fine droplets, which contact the rising waste gas in countercurrent. In the packing layer, the pollutants in the waste gas are absorbed, dissolved or chemically reacted by the scrubbing liquid, thereby achieving the purpose of purifying the waste gas. The purified gas is discharged from the top of the tower, and the scrubbing liquid containing pollutants is discharged through the bottom of the tower for subsequent treatment or recycling.

Application of Packed Bed Scrubber
In the chemical industry, packed bed scrubbers are often used to treat acidic waste gas generated in the production process of sulfuric acid plants, nitric acid plants, etc.
In the pharmaceutical industry, they are used to remove organic waste gas and odor generated in the pharmaceutical process;
In the coating industry, they are used to treat paint mist and VOCs generated in the painting process. In addition, they are also widely used in food processing, papermaking, printing and dyeing and other industries.
